Legit Workshop with Casting Director Mia Cusumano

Based on your headshot and resume, Mia will choose a scene for you which we will email you in advance. After a short on-camera interview by Brooke and Mary, you will work on-camera with a reader and Mia will provide direction as well as extensive feedback. This is an opportunity to meet and get personalized feedback from Mia who casts for both television, film and theater. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Our super small 10 person class setting allows you to get to acquainted with Mia and for Mia to get to know you and see you in action. This is an intimate setting and not a faceless seminar.

Mia Cusumano

Casting Director

Mia is currently casting an untitled HULU series. Her most recent film projects include LEZ BOMB, MY COUSIN SISTER'S WEDDING, ANTARCTICA, for which she also serves as a producer, CENTIGRADE, BANG BANG, TEAM MARCO, and I FEEL PRETTY. Most recent TV credits include work on a new TNT series SNOWPIERCER. Also cast season 1 of USA TV series, FALLING WATER (produced by The Walking Dead's producer Gale Anne Hurd) Along with casting on films like PATERSON, directed by Jim Jarmusch, she has also worked on a huge sports campaign, MARGOT vs LILY for NIKE, featuring 8 episodes, She's worked on several pilots including Mamma Dallas for HBO, FOR JUSTICE for CBS and the pilot SOUTH OF HELL for WE. She also cast alongside Meghan Rafferty for the first season of the hit HBO series THE LEFTOVERS. Past projects include the feature film RUN ALL NIGHT starring Liam Neeson. the pilot THE TOMORROW PEOPLE for the CW as well as casting for the CBS TV series GOLDEN BOY. Other projects include Woody Harrelson's Off-Broadway play BULLETS FOR ADOLF. She was the associate casting director on pilots: FOX's GUILTY and CBS's GOLDEN BOY with Rosalie Joseph Casting. She was the associate casting director on HBO's Untitled Phil Spector movie with casting director Sharon Bialy, the associate casting director on the first season of ABC's hit series "BODY OF PROOF" with casting director Rosalie Joseph. Mia worked with Julie Tucker and Ross Meyerson on season 3 of "IN TREATMENT" and on "SHERRI" with Rosalie Joseph. Other features she has worked "THE SMURFS" with with Richard Hicks and David Rudin and ANNIE with Kathleen Chopin Mia began her career as the Casting Coordinator for ABC's Primetime Casting Office, where she worked alongside, Rosalie Joseph, Marci Phillips, Janet Murphy and Geoff Soffer. Her credits range from primetime television pilots and series to studio feature films.

What is your refund policy?

Plans change, we get it. If you book a job or something else comes up we'll try to resell your seat if you notify us 7 or more days prior to the start of the class or workshop. (Go to "Contact Us" to let us know.) But if it's a 7 day or less notice and we can't fill your seat, we won't be able to refund.
